Jayathi Jayathi Bharata Mata

๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ณAs the flag unfurled and leapt like an eagle in flight when the wind caught it, flowers rained ๐ŸŒผ๐ŸŒบ๐ŸŒธ๐ŸŒผ๐Ÿฅ€๐ŸŒน๐ŸŒทon the kids looking up at the beautiful sight๐Ÿ‘ญ๐Ÿ‘ซ๐Ÿ‘ฌ๐Ÿ‘ซ๐Ÿ‘ญ๐Ÿ‘ซ.Their hands leapt in salute as instructed by the P.T teacher and the chorus played the most beautiful National Anthem. The voice of 2018 children in the school rose like a tidal wave as the Principal stood erect with his whole crowd, faces displaying pride, unity and strength.
After the National anthem, the children stood in files waiting for their turn to receive sweets.๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿญ๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿญ๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿญ๐Ÿฌ
Humming to herself, the song that her pati taught her the previous day, Bharathi ๐Ÿ‘ง๐Ÿปjoined the queue of children waiting to receive sweets from the Principal ๐Ÿ‘จ๐Ÿปโ€๐Ÿซof her school. She loved the way he dealt with kids and the way he teaches them.
When it was Bharathiโ€™s turn to receive the ๐Ÿซ,the Principal asked, โ€œWhy did you stop humming, little one? Bharathi looked up in surprise. Her innocent smile stretched across cheeks that blushed red.๐Ÿ‘ง๐Ÿป She seemed like the very Bharatha Mata ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ณwas standing in front of him. Step aside little one, sing the song while I distribute the sweets, he said.

With gay abandon and a pride that shone through she sang the song. As she repeated the line โ€œ Sakala Loka Samatha, Sadhu sadhu vihithaโ€ The matha who practises equality to all life and who is well understood by good people resounded in the school as the School stood to the challenges of the present world practising equality in all ways.

The Principal smiled at the words, ๐Ÿ˜€and he was reminded of Bharathiโ€™s mother Hikmat ๐Ÿง•๐Ÿปwho studied in that very school. Hikmat married Ram Prasad,๐Ÿ‘ฎ๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธ an officer in Indian Airforce. Her love for the country was so great that against all conventions the couple got married because they shared the love for their countryโค๏ธ. Ram Prasad lost his life in war and Hikmat named her daughter Bharathi, the name of her motherland.

Hikmat, now a single mother, lived up to her name. Wisdom, that is what her name meant, rose to the occasion and became the bread winner of the family by starting a small eatery selling wares that bespoke unity in all ways. Called Aikyatha( unity) , she cooked both traditional Islam ๐Ÿฅ˜๐Ÿ› food and Hindu cuisine ๐Ÿฑ๐Ÿฒand brought in her friend Catherine to cook Christian meals๐Ÿฅช๐Ÿฅ™. Every festival of the country was celebrated by serving the traditional food for the day. She approached the local farmers ๐Ÿ‘จ๐Ÿปโ€๐ŸŒพand set up an organised system of acquiring the raw materials from the local producers and employed many more people, thus creating a strong unified work force that had people of all faiths, native to that area.

If this is not the equality, freedom and the empowerment of the mothers of this nation, what else does the song convey?

For it is the mothers who raise the future generation of citizens who believe in

He looked up to see the tricolourย ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ณ dance in breeze.
